Inspirational Germany-based Ghanaian/Togolese Gustav L Releases Spiritually Motivational Anthem ‘I Believe In You Now’

Inspirational singer Gustav L, originally from Togo, grew up in Ghana, and is now based in Germany. This has resulted in a lot of experiences to draw from in his music, not all of them happy ones, and his new single, ‘I Believe In You Now’ is deeply personal, as he seeks to reconnect with God.

‘I Believe In You Now’ was released on October 18, and is available to stream and download here.

‘I Believe In You Now’ is an incredible addition to Gustav L’s already burgeoning discography, and was borne of a time when he was at his lowest. He found his way through a series of deeply painful experiences, and when he discovered that the support he sought from those around him wasn’t forthcoming, he realised it was time to reconnect with “the Creator who gifted him with his talents”. Gustav was in France at the time, and the melody of the song – a guitar riff that looped in his mind – came to him, and so, once he returned to Germany, it took him nearly 7 months to fully transform it into a song, with its true voice and meaning. One day, while he was on the train coming home, he thought of the melody again, and as if touched by God, the lyrics started pouring from his heart, a testimony to his belief and faith.

Gustav L’s passion for the performing arts started at the age of 8, when he would entertain his friends and family with his beautiful singing voice. He started writing songs at 13, and by 19 he started his official musical journey with his first professionally recorded song. and gaining attention from record labels in Ghana. Life got in the way of his career, so he put music to one side. During that hiatus however, he experienced profound personal and spiritual growth, becoming stronger, and even more determined than before to share his God-given gifts.

Gustav L recorded ‘I Believe In You Now’ in France by K Music. You can stream and download it here, and find out more about Gustav L and his music online on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
