St Luce Brothers Pay Homage To The FIFA World Cup In Their Charity Single, ‘Football Makes the World Go Round’

St Luce Brothers have united with Hillyfield Academy on the release of their charity single, ‘Football Makes The World Go Round’. All proceeds from the single will go to the Leyton Orient Trust, a charity which relies on donations to deliver health, well-being education, and life-skills programmes.

It’s the second single from St Luce Brothers, the follow-up to ‘Hold Me Close’. Comprising Joshua, Caleb and Matthew, the brothers from Walthamstow in East London have been making a name for themselves around London performing covers, and are now spreading their wings as singers, songwriters, and producers.

With ‘Football Makes The World Go Round’, they tap into the sense of community provided by football, and what has been called “the spirit of the game”. The song makes use of their sibling harmonies, which are gorgeously sweet and easygoing, and accompanied by acoustic guitar. Catchy lyrics and the repeated refrain of “Football makes the world go round” should ensure this song is heard in the stands in Qatar, as well as in gatherings to watch the games.

The music video for ‘Football Makes The World Go Round’ is just as chill as the song itself, with the brothers walking around Wembley Stadium, and having a kick about with children from Hillyfield Academy.

‘Football Makes The World Go Round’ is available to stream and download here. You can watch the video below. Let us know what you think in the comments!
