Released on August 14, ‘Pouring Rain’ is the beautiful and heartfelt collaboration between multi-faceted musician, Byolegy – real name Oleg Yembryk – and talented singer-songwriter Maria Stefans. ‘Pouring Rain’ is out now and is available to stream and download here.
The genesis of ‘Pouring Rain’ began when Byolegy reached out to Maria with proposed lyrics to the audio version of the track, and invited her to provide her vocals for the release. Maria was enraptured by the music, but asked that she be allowed to write her own lyrics. Taking inspiration from her recent relationship, she sent a demo the very next day to Byolegy, who loved what she had done with his music. This led the pair to the studio, where they set down ‘Pouring Rain’. The single’s release will soon be joined by a music video in a few weeks.
London-based songwriter and producer Oleg Yembryk, creating as Byolegy, started his musical journey at the age of 7, with violin lessons. He attended a music school for 5 years, building up his foundation and honing his talents, his passion for creating and recording music never once waning during this time. He finally decided to start sharing his music with the world in 2017, with his stage-name cleverly derived from his own name, while adding a personal touch to all his works.
Last year, Byolegy released ‘Beautiful Day’, which saw him collaborate with singer-songwriter Marky Dawson. Just like ‘Pouring Rain’, it’s an upbeat and uplifting track, demonstrating Byolegy’s talent for creating feel-good music.
