Premiere: Tornado Sky Bring A Beautiful Chaos With New Single, ‘Beautiful Now’

Out today, 26 July, ‘Beautiful Now’ is from Tornado Sky, comprising Jerry Careaga and Stephanie Gladhart, a duo in both life and music living with their rescue dog, Tommy, in Ventura, California.

The lead single from their upcoming album, ‘The Rough And The Wild’, ‘Beautiful Now’ harks back sonically to a simpler time, while lyrically looking forward to happier, more hopeful times. Moving into the beautiful chaos, into the beautiful now, by way of classic guitar sounds and retro vocals.

Jerry and Stephanie have been writing and recording music together for the past 25 years, and so formed Tornado Sky in order to finally let the public in to their private joy. And what a joy it is. ‘Beautiful Now’ is soft and reflective, a love song of sorts, the pair joining forces and voices; Jerry’s vocals take the lead, yet without Stephanie’s backing vocals they would not be quite so powerful.

Both halves of Tornado Sky are Los Angeles natives, and have been writing and performing from an early age – Stephanie from 9 years old, and Jerry at 13, and this has stood the pair in good stead, allowing them to instinctively know what works best and how, and their music is a reflection of their love and devotion to each other. ‘Beautiful Now’ almost feels like an intrusion on their relationship; as the pair sing of how they’re in it for the long haul, the good and the bad times, giving it all somehow, making it through, dreams and scars. It’s not really beautiful chaos: it’s just beautiful. It’s how it’s supposed to be.

‘Beautiful Now’ is out now. Find out more about Tornado Sky and their music online on their official website, YouTube, Spotify, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. You can also check out their Linktree for more contact details.
