As a reminder that Yuletide is soon upon us, ‘I Love Christmas Day’ is the debut winter anthem of animated group, Queens Of The Snow. Out today, 15 November, the track and accompanying video are set to become firm favourites on everyone’s festive playlists!
‘I Love Christmas Day’ is the brainchild of Andy Rumble, whose plan was to produce “the catchiest Christmas song imaginable” – and we think he’s hit the mark! Rumble, probably best known as being the musical director for Barry Manilow, and for scoring Manilow’s classic song, ‘Copacabana’. has had a 15 year hiatus to raise his four children. The new song, ‘I Love Christmas Day’ is a passion project, which saw Rumble pour all his expertise into it, and its release today is the result of a three month journey, which will fill everyone’s hearts and souls with good cheer, in anticipation of the big day.
The music video for ‘I Love Christmas Day’ takes the song beyond just an aural experience, and by way of top flight motion capture technology, we see three animated “vocalists”. who are perfectly in sync with the lyrics as they dance in the snow.
With catchy lyrics set against an upbeat instrumental track (complete with bells!), ‘I Love Christmas Day’ is a gorgeous and entertaining track that you’ll be humming for days!
‘I Love Christmas Day’ is out now, and can be streamed and downloaded here.
