Suave n Thick Release New Single, ‘Long Distance’

Last week, New York City hip-hop/R&B duo Suave n Thick released their latest single, their awesome new love song, titled ‘Long Distance’. The track is a collaborative effort with one of London’s best up-and-coming producers, Eclectic, who composed the track with a mix of old and new school R&B and hip hop beats, creating a brilliant new mix that’s easy to pick up, listen to and enjoy.

One of Brooklyn’s finest indie R&B/hip-hop duos, Suave n Thick were formed earlier this year by two childhood friends, debuting shortly after with their six-track EP, titled ‘Textures’. Quickly gaining notoriety for their multi-genre mix of sound, which combines elements of old school West Coast hip hop/g-funk with contemporary R&B, the duo’s music has been held in high acclaim by audiences and critics alike, including their latest single, the brilliant love ballad, ‘Long Distance’.

Backed by a g-funk bass reminiscent of Nate Dogg and Warren G’s ‘Regulate’, the song is as eclectic as ever, featuring R&B style vocals and contemporary hip hop instrumentation behind the duo’s smooth vocals, as they deliver a powerful message, discussing love and themes associated with it – suggesting that love only gets stronger as people drift apart. Just like that special someone, you’re gonna love this song no matter where you are in life, so give it a listen through the link below.
