American Rockers NEEDTOBREATHE Announce Long-Awaited 9th Album

Legendary American rock band NEEDTOBREATHE have announced their highly anticipated ninth album release, ‘Caves’, due on September 15th. The eleven-track long LP follows up their 2021 album, ‘Into The Mystery’, which was their fifth consecutive chart-topper on the Christian Music charts, and features several special guests from across the music industry.

NEEDTOBREATHE have been around for over two decades now. They formed in 2001 in Seneca, South Carolina, subsequently releasing an independent 11-track album titled ‘The Feature’, although they didn’t get major attention until 2004, where their music caught the attention of UMG’s Lava Records. The label signed them, and they would cross the Atlantic to record their first album, ‘Daylight’, in the UK, which released in 2006. The album got the attention of mainstream critics, and their follow up album, ‘The Heat’, charted on the Billboard 200 – their first of many to do so. Now, later in September, the group will add to their massive discography with ‘Caves’, their best and biggest work yet.

We’ve already seen three of the album’s latest snippets already – ‘Everknown’, ‘The Cave’, and ‘Hideaway’ (ordered by release date) have been released on major streaming platforms already, and by the sound of those tracks, we can piece together a vague idea of what ‘Caves’ will be like. Featuring a vast array of genres and sounds across its three currently available songs, it’s likely ‘Caves’ will be their most ambitious record yet – an epic collection of melodies, medleys and rhythms pieced together into one incredible eleven-track record for everyone to experience later this September. Mark your calendars for September 15th, and keep yourself updated on the group’s socials, because you can be certain that NEEDTOBREATHE are back in business once again.
