With pre-sale tickets for Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ the most in-demand across the UK and Ireland right now – nearly 40,000 people joined the online queue for London and Edinburgh tickets when they went live on Monday – it’d be easy to feel like just waiting to see what you could pick up when general sale tickets are released on July 17, or even resign yourself to missing out altogether.
And this is where Jedward comes in.
The Irish popstars, John and Edward Grimes, are offering Taylor Swift fans a chance to win two tickets for the UK/Ireland leg of Taylor’s ‘The Eras Tour’. Why, you might ask? Well, Jedward are OG Swifties, having been fans from the very start. They were among the first Taylor Swift fans in Ireland, and they’ve always had Taylor’s back, being well-known for rising to her defence, such as when Blur singer Damon Albarn claimed Taylor didn’t write her own songs.
Jedward first met Taylor back in 2011 during her ‘Speak Now’ Tour, and the duo posted a photo on their Instagram, taken backstage after the Dublin show.
