Carly Hanley Is Dressed To Impress With New Video For Her Pop Single, ‘Ooh La La’

Singer Songwriter Carly Hanley was born and raised in the greater Chicagoland area, and spent much of her childhood on stage. She eventually pursued a career in film and video production, along the way accumulating the stories and sentiments that now populate her catchy hook-driven pop tunes, exploring themes of friendship, romance, and self-realisation. With her 2022 EP ‘Radiant’, Carly took to the musical stage, opening up her vulnerable inner life to the world. Following on from this, she steadily released singles, ahead of her upcoming debut long player, ‘Ruby’, set to come out later this year.

Carly Hanley’s new single, ‘Ooh La La’, takes a look at spontaneous attraction. A vibrant and sexy track, it’s been given a club-inspired beat, and filled with piano, horns, and other musical treats. The infinitely playable track sees Carly lower her guard, and in so doing, is suddenly and powerfully drawn to a new person, impossible to resist.

This theme is played out in the music video for ‘Ooh La La’, directed by Jason Knade. The scene is perfect for the song, as it opens on Carly as she prepares herself for a performance in an intimate club. As she sings, she spots a charming man in the audience, and she leaves the show to pursue him instead.
