What’s Your ‘Love Language’? Jamaican Star Andon Tells Us His In New Single And Video

Pop singer-songwriter Andon is making a name for himself and breaking the mould for Jamaican musicians. Raised in Kingston, Jamaica, and now living on the other side of the island in Negril, Andon grew up listening to a wide range of artists, and their influence on his sound can be heard today. From the power ballads of Tori Kelly and Celine Dion, to picking up moves from music videos – and the Disney Channel – Andon is a true global child of the 21st century, breaking genres without any limitation.

Singing for the guests full time in resorts around Negril, Andon has become a firm favourite with tourists, and one such fan decided to become his manager, after being wowed by his smooth, talented sound.

Andon’s new release, the R&B single, ‘Love Language’, is a fine example of his ability to effortlessly adopt new genres. He croons over a flowing roll of guitar and percussion, singing with the truest longings of his heart. His lyrics express his true desire to be seen and fully accepted in a relationship – not just admired for his talents, but for the whole package to be appreciated, faults and all.

The music video for ‘Love Language’, directed by Andon’s long-time collaborator Steven Bernard, brings fully to life his emotional journey. With lo-fi filters and over-saturated colours, the clip follows Andon on his quest, through the ups and downs, the highs and lows – the calmness, and the paranoia.

No matter what happens in Andon’s love life, we know one thing for sure, and that is he’s on the up and up with his music – you heard it here first.
