Comprising brothers John and Kenny – who play lead guitar and bass respectively, The Turner Brothers are a talented sibling act who have been involved in music since the 90s. Their releases feature guest or session musicians, and collaborations with a range of different vocals, depending on the style required for the track.

Their latest single, the RnB track, ‘I’ll Always’, is steeped in 90s soul, and was created one day while John Turner was in the studio waiting for the other band members to arrive for practice. While he was experimenting with new guitar chords, he came up with the melody, and the skeleton of the lyrics. When the rest of the band arrived, they listened and joined in, coming up with the chorus hook, “I’ll always”.

‘I’ll Always’ tells the story of someone who is deeply in love, so much so they are almost enchanted by it. For such a powerful love song, they needed a voice of equal strength and passion, and so they enlisted the voice of Kelsey D., who gave the track the soulful vocals it required. Along with John’s guitar, and Kenny’s bass, as well as some stunning horn playing, ‘I’ll Always’ is a gorgeous track which will entrance every listener.
