If you’re self-assured then everyone who sees you will know it to be true, and they’ll be drawn your way. Miss Kaniyah knows all about the power of self-confidence and with her new single, ‘I Look Good’, she’s not about to gatekeep it.

Out of Washington DC, Miss Kaniyah is a rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer. Not only that, she also directs her own music videos. She’s one who aims to conquer, and she’s bringing everyone else along the way.

Of course, she looks good too – really good – all the time. She’s not shy in attracting attention, and when she raps she makes sure nothing is lost on anyone – she’s direct and forceful, and her rhymes are catchy as all. With propulsive beats and sweet as sugar synths, Miss Kaniyah makes all her points in a lightning fast minute and a half.

The music video for ‘I Look Good’ is a celebration of fashion, beauty, femininity, and above all, attitude. Miss Kaniyah strides across the shots, so self-possessed it feels as though the camera was made for her. She makes good use of every second of the clip, appearing as a TV presenter, model, and businesswoman, rapping the entire time. Her choice of clothing is as impressive as she is – from a skin-tight pink bodysuit, to a sparkly, bosom-revealing business suit, and a voluminous white satin dress with impossibly huge neck feature. Miss Kaniyah expects attention, and so who are we to deny it to her?
