UK Singer Songwriter Wellingta Releases R&B Single And Video, ‘No Goodbyes’

UK singer songwriter Wellingta revisits the 90s and the golden age of R&B with her new single, ‘No Goodbyes’. The artist pairs the track with a gorgeous music video shot in London’s world famous Rivoli Ballroom.

An absolute party-starter of a track, ‘No Goodbyes’ features Wellingta’s sweet as honey vocals laid over an irresistible club-ready hip-hop-R&B beat. While at first it seems she’s singing of the excitement of a new romance, a deeper look reveals that the true message is a love song to God, and a declaration of her devotion to her Lord. ‘No Goodbyes’ is a testimony to Wellingta’s faith and commitment.

The music video for ‘No Goodbyes’, shot by Lutch Media at the Rivoli Ballroom, in London’s South East, is as glorious as the venue itself. The only 1950s ballroom still standing in London, it’s played host to music videos from the likes of Tina Turner, Elton John, Oasis, Florence + the Machine, Kings of Leon, Lana del Rey, and Noel Gallagher – among many others. And this is what makes the location perfect for ‘No Goodbyes’ – the contrast between the Ballroom and Wellngta’s fresh modern style is heightened, and serves as a visual metaphor for her career and the music she makes. She enters the ballroom, smokey colours around her, where she is joined by a group of male dancers, who echo her steps, but leaving her in charge.
