Franz Ferdinand are fresh off the back of their ‘Hits To The Head’ world tour featuring a 20 track greatest hits collection showcasing the world-conquering success of the band’s career to date.

They released ‘Hits To The Head’ in 2022 via Domino Records, who signed the Scottish rock band in 2003. Their second single ‘Take Me Out’ exploded onto the international stage, putting the band firmly on the global map, and was a precursor to their eponymous debut album which went on to sell nearly four million copies worldwide.

Supporting Franz Ferdinand are Pillow Queens from Dublin – Sarah, Pam, Rachel, and Cathy. All in different bands when they met, they instantly hit it off and shared the same musical vision. Within a few years of playing around Ireland and beyond, they had gained a strong following along with a reputation for being a live band you had to see. They released many singles and thought-provoking videos which lead up to their debut album, ‘Leave The Light On’ in 2020. After the pandemic they followed it up with ‘In Waiting’ in 2022. Both albums were nominated for the Choice Music Prize. They toured all over the world in 2022, appearing on James Corden’s Late Late Show in the US and selling out 2 shows in Vicar St in October of that year.

We no longer accept unpaid PR agency work. We believe the creative arts have value, and this includes writing. As always, we will write about artists who contact us - or who we contact - for free - but we can no longer work free of charge for PR agencies. We work hard, we put in a lot of hours writing, and we ask that you respect that. Contact us for our very reasonable rates.
