Maxim Edward Is Hanging Onto Goodbye With Heartfelt Song About Lost Love, ‘Love Me Anymore’

We’ve all been there. The one we have set our heart on, have devoted so many hours, days, months, even years of our lives to, has decided to call it quits. We might even have agreed to the split, but deep down we don’t want to let go. Maxim Edward gets it too, and his new single, ‘Love Me Anymore’, cuts us deep.

Accompanied by an acoustic guitar and simple hand clap percussion, Maxim’s husky vocals are nonetheless strong and passionate as he sings of how he knows he needs to move on but he really can’t let go. He’s seeing his former partner everywhere – even if it’s not exactly her it’s someone that reminds him of her – and the memories come flooding back. He knows the solution is to love himself some more; to realise he’s worthy of love – but he keeps coming back to the same place: the memories of her are still too raw. He’s desperate – he’ll even accept her if she no longer loves him – he just wants her back.

‘Love Me Anymore’ is a strong debut from Maxim Edward, and we hope to hear more soon from this talented newcomer. You can follow Maxim Edward online on his official website, Facebook, and Instagram. Listen to ‘Love Me Anymore’ on Spotify.
