King Jezaniah Releases Afrobeat Break Up Track, ‘Enemy’

Released on 13 December, ‘Enemy’ is the new Afrobeat single from prolific artist, King Jezaniah.

21 year old King Jezaniah, who hails from the East African country of Tanzania, but now lives in the USA, is making his mark on the entertainment industry, particularly with regard to music, but also singing, dancing, and acting.

New track, ‘Enemy’, is based on his own personal experience, and was born out of a break up with his girlfriend, who had been cheating on him. King Jezaniah felt everyone he knew was his “enemy” as they went behind his back, betraying him. Rather than let the experience destroy him however, the artist instead channelled his raw emotions and feelings into each lyric, delivering every word with a heartfelt performance. Lines such as “my kindness is my problem”, and “they want to see me down” convey beautifully and heartbreakingly his introspection and strong feelings.

King Jezaniah found that he didn’t even have to write down his lyrics, his feelings were so real that he instead was able to craft them all in his head, ensuring the absolute realness of the final track.

King Jezaniah started making music professionally in the studio in 2019, but even before that he was laying tracks down directly into his phone. Music was in his soul and he used whatever way he could to get it out into the world. His friends supported his talent, and encouraged him to release his music, thus empowering him to build an incredible discography, and setting him on his flight to the stars.

‘Enemy’ is out now, and available to stream and download here.
