Iness Live Pays Homage To 80s Classic ‘Physical’, With Her New House Anthem

Taking inspiration from Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, and Michael Jackson, Croatian powerhouse Iness Live pays tribute to the late great Olivia Newton John with her fresh take on the latter’s 1981 chart smash, ‘Physical’. ‘Physical’ is out now and available to stream and download here.

‘Physical’ sees Iness Live and her producer, the incredibly talented Svsn Gledja, pair the immediately recognisable hook with a strong electronic soundscape, the result being a pumping club dance track. They’ve taken the 80s track and brought it into the 21st century with the addition of pulsating synth rhythms and a kick-drum which pulls up the tempo, rendering it a certified dance hit.

Speaking about what ‘Physical’ means to her, Iness Live says,

“the story is about me breaking free from all the chains surrounding me, finding freedom in music in love and finally the message is love conquers all .. you just have to believe in yourself.”

Iness Live, from Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, has been exploring music in a number of ways since childhood, when she would put on and choreograph performances in her hometown. During high school she took dance classes with an established musical theatre actor, and followed this with nearly 4 years at dance school in Germany, where she had her first live performance in front of an incredible 3000 people. Iness then returned to Croatia, where her business acumen saw her land a partnership with the country’s biggest manager.

Additionally, Iness Live’s version of ‘Physical’ has been featured on Sony Music’s album, ‘Goldies Clubbing’, which saw her receive a well-earned award for her work in hte Croatian club music scene.
