Kjersti Long Sings The Song Of The Summer With New Single, ‘Boys In Jersey’

New Jersey native Kjersti Long has been finding her way in the music business since she was the tender age of 12. Her incredible voice, reminiscent of powerhouses such as Janis Joplin, and Heart’s Ann Wilson, was found as a result of teenage rebellion; her passion is reflected in her thoroughly relatable tracks, which resonate with a more modern audience, such as fans of Olivia Rodrigo, and Demi Lovato. Kjersti’s new single, ‘Boys Of Jersey’, is this year’s summer smash, as she searches for the boy of her dreams, who will ignite a fire within her, without throwing up any red flags.

Kjersti uses her music as a means by which to forge emotional bonds, and she somehow manages to find a way to exactly express what it is the listener needs to hear, covering such topics as the problems of high school, modern dating and all its confusion, and navigating your identity. A musical prodigy, Kjersti has had the opportunity to perform at the acclaimed House of Blues, in San Diego, as well as The Stone Pony, in New Jersey, and she’s been the warm-up for David Bryan of Bon Jovi.

‘Boys In Jersey’ is an infectious pop/rock anthem, which sees Kjersti voice her frustration with dating. She’s had it with all the jocks and posers, and she just wants to find the “Jack” for her “Rose”. The music video brings the lyrics to life, with footage of stereotypical Jersey boys interspersed with scenes of Kjersti rocking out with her band, in front of the New York City skyline. A catchy and memorable track, ‘Boys In Jersey’ will surely find a place with anyone who’s had enough of the modern day dating scene.
