New Rules Announce An Intimate Evening At London’s Bush Hall, Tuesday August 30

Following the release of their debut mixtape ‘Go The Distance’ and a series of sold-out US dates, London-based trio New Rules have announced a very special intimate evening at London’s Bush Hall for Tuesday 30th August. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday 29th July at 10am via https://gigst.rs/NewRulesLDN.

‘Go The Distance’ – the collection by Alec McGarry [vocals, guitar], Nathan Lambert [vocals, guitar], and Ryan Meaney [vocals, guitar] came together from working on music at home in London and includes six brand-new offerings in addition to the previously released title track plus long-time fan-favourite single, ‘Pasta’. An extended version featuring four additional tracks including live and stripped versions of favourites from the mixtape will be released on August 5th.

With Ryan from Ireland, Alec from Hertfordshire, and Nathan from Chelmsford, the boys initially met online, bonding over similar backgrounds playing music on street corners, uploading covers online, and penning original material. The musicians came together in 2019 and burst onto the scene with tracks, ‘Call It’, and ‘Fix Somebody’, which showcased their elevated pop fuelled by singer-songwriter soul, rock ‘n’ roll spirit, and a whole lot of personality.

Following the viral success of ‘Pasta’, and ‘Emily’, they caught the attention of Elektra Records and signed to the label in 2021. Their bond strengthened as friends and as a band, and it shines through this latest chapter. Earlier this year New Rules released ‘Really Wanna Dance With You’, and ‘Cheers’. Entirely written and co-produced by the band, they caused a flurry of activity on TikTok, with Wonderland Magazine attesting the group is “set to become the next big thing.”

From hitting the road with Julia Michaels, Little Mix, and Picture This, the trio have sold out successive headline tours all the while amassing tens of millions of streams and earning global acclaim.  Now New Rules are back for a very special intimate UK show this August.
