Casey Moon Releases Latest Single, ‘home’

Released 2 June, ‘home’ is the new single from pop artist, Casey Moon. Casey takes his inspiration from a wide range of artists, including The 1975, and Frank Ocean, but has nonetheless developed a characteristic style that sets him apart from the rest.

‘home’ has a melancholy, yet sweet sound, and is about the totally relatable theme of being stuck, and unable to express yourself, particularly with someone you love, and the resulting loneliness that comes of it.

While ‘home’ is the first track to come from Casey Moon as a solo artist, it’s not his first foray into the world of music, having played in many bands over the years, as well as working as a songwriter and producer. ‘home’ is a sad, yet somehow uplifting song, that bodes well for Moon’s future plans, which include a trilogy of EPs. He’s already named them: ‘Fountains’, ‘Mirrors’, and ‘Ashes’, and while each project has a different genre, they are nonetheless linked by drawing thematic influence from films or TV series, albeit different ones. Casey’s hope is to take his listeners on journey through his songs, which are about growing up, and the experiences he’s gone through. We’re excited to follow his journey and see what he comes up with next!
