Out February 11, ‘Tonight’ is the new single from Swedish born singer songwriter, Rebecka Larsdotter. The upbeat pop track brings with it elements of EDM, and describes the feeling of not wanting to be alone.
‘Tonight’ talks about the search for relief and a sense of belonging, and comes with a music video, released on 2 February, shot in Breckenridge and Denver Colorado, with Rebecka acting out the storyline of the song. If you’re a local you’ll recognise some of the shots, such as a scene in Denver’s famous Bonnie Brae Tavern, which has been open since 1934. The clip manages to lift the mood of the lyrics somewhat, and was directed by Xavier Taplin, known for his work with TOTO and Prince, as well as Tony Austin, and Rebecka Larsdotter herself.
‘Tonight’ is the second single to be released from Rebecka’s upcoming album, following her November release, ‘Turn Your Back’. You can pre-save ‘Tonight’ here.
