Elion V – ‘Provide’

Rising star Elion V, from Worchester, Massachusetts, fused his heritage with his music by way of Latin influences, and honed his poetic craft and innate ability to piece together lyrics and beats to cater to audiences of all backgrounds. He has come a long way from his first live performance at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center, where he was an opening act for big names including A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Fetty Wap, and Young Thug. Elion V’s latest song, ‘Provide’, shows he is hungry to make a name for himself and, provides his listeners with a taste of the exotic, while the accompanying video shows us his humour.

Elion V knows it’s important not to take yourself too seriously, and the video for ‘Provide’ certainly takes that in its stride. The song, with its Latin rhythms, is about fulfilling his woman’s fantasies and the hilarious clip, shows him being kidnapped and dragged into a home filled with beautiful women, where is he forced to face the kingpin he owes money to. This isn’t any ordinary mob boss however, but it’s a Joselito, a comedic puppet star from Massachusetts.

Elion V takes it all in his stride as he attempts to bargain with Joselito and bring back the money he owes, all while his song plays in the background, seamlessly switching between English and Spanish.
