BEEWARE – ‘It Is’

Frank Sinatra once sang, “Chicago is my kind of town”. Although Frank was New Jersey through and through, there’s been plenty of huge musical names come up through the Windy City. Revolutionary artists such as Kanye West (now known as Ye), Common, and Curtis Mayfield. Now we’ve another name from Chicago that’s bound to soon be on everyone’s lips. BEEWARE has over a decade in the rap/soul game, and he’s about to release his sixth project, ‘After Carbon’. New single from that release, ‘It Is’, brings with it the honest lyricism and touching rhymes that speak to current events that his fans know and love.

BEEWARE reminds us that it’s always important to keep your head high, even through the darkest of hours. We’ve all spent the past two years living through the Covid-19 pandemic, and we all know what it feels like to be burned out. In ‘It Is’, BEEWARE tells us that it’s all about mind over matter. No matter what situations we find ourselves in, the human mind is more than capable of surviving and overcoming great challenges. With smooth flows, matched with a feature from Angel-A’s soulful melodies, ‘It Is hovers on top of a shimmery, chilled-out beat as you appreciate the stunning aerial shots of Sedona, Arizona. Let the song wash over you, and develop a new appreciation for the beauty that surrounds you.
