Mr. Reaper- ‘Thru The Dark’

With raw talent that’s accompanied by a burning desire to achieve greatness Mr.Reaper returned to the rap and hip-hop scene after a long hiatus. The multi-faceted artist realised his true potential, and has been going full throttle ever since. His latest project, ‘Light vs. Dark’, is a seven-track album that sees Mr. Reaper touch on themes such as deception, uncertainty, self-improvement, living in the moment and sticking to your dreams.

‘Thru The Dark’, the latest track from his project, sees Mr. Reaper contrast high octane flows with an aggressive beat, the full effect being to emphasise his message of balancing the light and dark.

With a music video shot in locations such as dim alleyways, fluorescent tunnels, and an extravagant performance theatre, the emphasis is put on internal battle between the struggle and success. Mr.Reaper battles with the opposing versions of himself in a visually powerful clip which gives us an inside glimpse into how the artist controls his doubts and ambitions. At the exciting conclusion to the video, Mr.Reaper proudly steps onto the stage, he fully embracing the duality of his mind while still showing that he sees best when he is in the dark and things are hidden.
