JC Stewart Opens For The Vamps ‘Cherry Blossom’ Tour At Eventim Apollo Friday 17th September

JC Stewart, opening for The Vamps at Eventim Apollo, was greeted by huge screams from the almost full venue before even stepping on stage. He opened with upcoming single ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’ (out on September 24th) and quickly got the crowd singing and waving along. This was followed by ‘Break My Heart’ before he switched from his guitar to a piano and sang his single ‘Loud’, a slower, sadder song that saw the venue lit up by hundreds of phones in the air.

He followed this with a guitar cover of Cyndi Lauper’s ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ that got a huge reception and had the whole venue singing and dancing. He finished with ‘I Need You To Hate Me’. It was a short but very sweet set from JC Stewart who surely has big things ahead of him and probably won himself some new fans with his opening set on Friday!

About the author

There’s a lot of music out there - good music. At Essentially Pop our remit is that we cover music that deserves to be heard, with a particular focus on independent artists. That doesn't mean we won't cover your old favourites - rather we hope to give you some new favourites as well.

We no longer accept unpaid PR agency work. We believe the creative arts have value, and this includes writing. As always, we will write about artists who contact us - or who we contact - for free - but we can no longer work free of charge for PR agencies. We work hard, we put in a lot of hours writing, and we ask that you respect that. Contact us for our very reasonable rates.
