The Vamps ‘Cherry Blossom’ tour was the first concert I’ve been to post-pandemic and what a first show to go to! At the beautiful Eventim Apollo, full of a crowd prepared to sing (and scream) their hearts out, The Vamps put on an excellent show with a mix of fan favourites from previous albums as well as tracks from their latest release ‘Cherry Blossom’, written and recorded over lockdowns in 2020.
The Vamps blessed the music scene all the way back in 2012 after meeting online and posting covers on YouTube. From that small garage band, they have grown into one of the biggest bands in the UK. After six headline tours, becoming the first band to perform at London’s O2 Arena five years in a row, a number one album, and performing to hundreds of thousands of adoring fans worldwide, Brad, James, Connor, and Tristan return with their fifth studio album titled “Cherry Blossom.”
The Vamps have had quite the year. 2019 started off strong for them as they released their new EP ‘Missing You’ in which this was the first time the band had full control over writing and producing the songs themselves. They then set out on their Four Corners tour where they travelled all across the UK, the rest of Europe and Asia performing to their adoring fans.
