Millz Corleone – ‘Gone Krazy’

Coming to shake up the hip hop scene of Norfolk, Virginia, rapper Millz Corleone has dedicated himself to perfecting the poetry in rap, since he first found his passion in music, back in 2017.

He’s certainly open to exploring the varied topography of hip hop, as evinced by his back-to-back projects, ‘Corleone’, ‘In My Own Lane’, and ‘Sucka For You’. Millz Corleone uses his platform to share the struggle of the streets, all while hustling to master his craft. His latest single, ‘Gone Krazy’, sees Corleone reflect on his road to success, and how he found his voice through the noise.

‘Gone Krazy’ serves as a “come up” anthem, and sees Corleone outline his career in rap. The music video follows similar lines, in a story about climbing the corporate ladder to success. We see Corleone rise from the bottom rung to the head of the company, indulging in luxury homes and expensive cars. In the second half however, the clip takes a completely different turn as Corleone is tormented by copies of himself. The once-powerful Corleone is effectively held hostage by himself, symbolic of how pride has consumed who he is, and forcing him to address his demons. He allows us a deeper look into the fleeting nature of what we define as success and the importance of remaining true to your roots.
