Bangladeshi artist Ketan Sheikh wows his listeners with his latest single, a romantic pop ballad called ‘Kon Gobhire’. The song serves as an expression of the tender love held for the woman he loves, and while Shaquie Ahmed wrote the lyrics, Ketan Sheikh composed the melody and arranged the instrumentation in order to highlight the lyrics’ tenderness and intimacy.
Ketan Sheikh is a composer, singer songwriter, and poet, and has been composing and arranging professionally since the 1990s. With his specialism being Bangla music, Ketan’s first instrument was the Tabla, a twin pair of hand drums. This led him to perform as a solo Tabla musician, as well as in ensemble. From there he learned keyboards, and saw him play in touring rock bands, performing all over the world. Additionally he has his own studio and record label, Epsilon Records, through which he’s released all 9 of his independent singles.
