Damian Releases Debut EP, ‘Split’

Set for release tomorrow, 8 April, ‘Split’ is the debut EP from Sydney-based singer songwriter, Damian. The four track EP showcases the artist’s considerable vocal talent while he shares personal experiences from the heart.

‘Split’, by Damian, the performance name of Damian Timothy Hempstead, a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actor and model from Sydney, Australia, is an exciting new EP whose songs range from pop ballads, pop rock, to rap and spoken word.

Speaking of the EP, which was recorded at Messiah Studios, Damian said,

“The songs capture a unique moment/feeling that I experienced during that time and the way in which each of those particular experiences affected me, ranging from the crisis of a broken heart to a fallen partner, to the exhilarating realisation of how truly strong a person is when they finally learn to accept and love themselves.”

Damian describes the recording process as having been an expansive and experimental experience, which allowed him to dive deeply into his creative persona, while fully exploring the songs that he’d written over a two year period.

‘Split’ is available to pre-save here. You can find out more about Damian and his music online on
