Sam Wows With Latest Single ‘Someone New’

Los Angeles based singer songwriter Sam pulls on the heartstrings with her single, ‘Someone New’. With a rawness and honesty that’s rarely seen these days, the song was inspired by the frustration that comes from talking to someone new and it doesn’t work out.

The 21 year old artist, who first started playing guitar at the age of 13, accompanies her vocals with guitar, and eloquently conveys the heartbreak of first love. She’s currently studying English and Music Production, and although she has featured on an EDM track, her music is mostly pop, and draws on her Hispanic heritage.

Sam wrote her first song for her younger sister, and uses her music to channel her emotions and feelings in a positive way. It is for this reason that she will appeal to fans of Taylor Swift, and even Shawn Mendes, and Dua Lipa.

‘Someone New’ is set for release on January 17, and you can pre-save it here.
