Louis Tomlinson Scores Biggest Male Solo Artist Live Stream Of 2020 With Saturday Night Concert

Louis Tomlinson’s livestream concert on Saturday night was the biggest male solo artist live stream of the year.

Louis topped all other male solo artists in 2020 globally. His streamed concert ‘Live From London’ has so far sold over 160,000 tickets worldwide.

Profits from the show are to be split between FareShare, Crew Nation, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and Stagehand. Louis will also be donating money to his own touring crew, many of which have been out of work since March.

Louis thanked his fans saying:

“That was incredible. Thank you to everyone that watched. Can’t wait to finally get back on the road”.

Louis had to postpone his world tour this year to 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

About the author

There’s a lot of music out there - good music. At Essentially Pop our remit is that we cover music that deserves to be heard, with a particular focus on independent artists. That doesn't mean we won't cover your old favourites - rather we hope to give you some new favourites as well.

We no longer accept unpaid PR agency work. We believe the creative arts have value, and this includes writing. As always, we will write about artists who contact us - or who we contact - for free - but we can no longer work free of charge for PR agencies. We work hard, we put in a lot of hours writing, and we ask that you respect that. Contact us for our very reasonable rates.
