Nas – ‘Spicy’ (feat. Fivio Foreign & A$AP Ferg)

‘Spicy’, featuring Fivio Foreign, and A$AP Ferg, is the new single from Nas, and comes from his latest album, ‘King Disease’. It’s an upbeat track that aims to hype up, and the fast paced, high energy song will give you the ultimate pick-up, no matter what you’re doing.

A music video for an track such as ‘Spicy’ of course deserves to be shot in a high-energy location. Nas, Fivio, and A$AP Ferg spit out their rhymes with an unbeatable confidence that makes everyone sit up. Starting with the wailing of a police siren, which is then heard throughout the track, they’re unfazed with their flow, although everyone else stops to pay attention. The rhymes, beats, and drops get the crowd hyped up, and Nas, as with his other singles, lets it be clear that he is well aware of what he’s doing, when it comes to producing a hit.

Nas, Fivio Foreign, and A$AP Ferg at the start of the clip are surrounded by their crew, with the occasional message reminding people to wear mask. It’s high speed after that with flashing lights of the city, not to mention flash cars speeding along, leaving everyone in their wake. Nas is dressed in an expensive fur coat and suit, like the boss that he is, and street dancers give it their all. Directed by Jack Begert, the visuals are top rate, such as Nas with his head like a melting candle, pixelated yet beautiful women, and morphed faces. In the end, the trio are seen having fun, with flames, vibrant colours, and as good a vibe as you can possibly get.
