Vocalist Jacqine Releases Latest Single, ‘It’s Never Been About Us’

New York based Jacqine brings powerful vocals to her latest single, ‘It’s Never Been About Us’. Her huge, rich voice is reminiscent of Cher, as she sings of an unrequited love.

‘It’s Never Been About Us’ is an anthemic track, which sees Jacqine paired with soaring strings and ethereal flutes, bringing to life the song which she’d had in mind for a while, but finally emerged as she sat down at the keyboard one day. She joined forces with Craig Levy, from Little Pioneer Cider House, who then added drums, and did the audio engineering, resulting in the powerful ballad we hear today.

Jacquine has not only gained a reputation for her incredible voice but also for her songwriting and performing. Her style is a blend of jazz, rock, and pop, and she’s a popular performer in many venues across New York City. Additionally a song she co-wrote was licenced at the Cannes Film Festival, and found success in 13 countries. She has found support for her music on radio stations in over 40 countries, including Followme 876 Radio in Spain, GSRN, in Panama, David M Snashfold on Mixcloud, and Jazz Juice Radio (both UK), 90.5 Sirius XM, and Radio Indie International, in Italy.
