Singer-songwriter Yves Paquet has just released his brand new single titled, ’25-28′. which you can now stream on Spotify here. Not only that, but Yves also dropped a music video alongside release! You can watch it below:
This insanely catchy track had quite the team behind the creation. It was produced by Ant Whiting. Ant is a London-based producer who has worked with some of the top names in the music industry including; MIA, John Newman, Ella Eyre, Becky Hill, and Blanche.
In late 2018, Yves released his hit ‘UFO’ with The Subs. Since then, the singer has kept his profile on the down-low. Now, he’s back with this absolute banger of a single. The lyrics and beat are so memorable, you’ll feel like you know all the words after the first listen.
When speaking of ’25-28′, he says;
“I grew up in a village in the countryside, like many villages in Belgium. The song is kind of a Mrs. Robinson story about how (mostly) your first summer fling in your small hometown or village isn’t the biggest love of your life. It’s not the end of the world but at the same time, it feels like that. I wanted to capture the sound of a summer in my youth”
