Norwegian star Ina Wroldsen has recently dropped her beautiful new music video to match her equally beautiful single ‘Haloes’.
The visually pleasing video was directed by the award winning Norwegian director Thor Brenne. He was successfully able to bring Ina’s truly stunning and dreamlike lyrics to life. With its breath-taking landscapes paired with contemporary dance routines, they were able to explore the meaning of human connection in the most creative way possible.
‘Haloes’ was released on the 20th September and has reached over 1 million streams on Spotify in just a few weeks! Speaking of the single, Ina states that she,
“wrote ‘Haloes’ with my favourite co-writer and good friend Steve Mac and we wanted to capture that moment of euphoria you feel when you are in a crowd of people and everyone is just having a wonderful time, being human together.”
“With my songwriting, I am constantly trying to capture defining moments of human nature in seemingly ‘everyday situations.’ The first ‘hello’ that leads to a lifelong relationship, the first spark in an innocent touch or that final decision one makes that leads through sorrow and loss, to a completely new and bright path. I truly believe there is magic in everything, if you just take a second and look for it.”
Ina wowed at her headline show at London’s Camden Assembly last night, 20 October, and unsurprisingly the performance was sold out.
