Melodic Indie Rockers Para Lia Reveal New Video For ‘Hawk Hill’ Single

The talented alternative/indie rock duo Para Lia have recently released their brand-new music video in support of their single ‘Hawk Hill’.

The duo teamed up with multimedia artist Ralf Schusted in order to create the intriguing music video. A special BandCamp edition will also feature two other original tracks; ‘Over It’ (single version) and ‘On My Way Home’.

Para Lia are originally from Cottbus, Germany, and take influence from old school 90s alt-rock mixed with 80s darkwave to formulate their own unique sound. If you’re a fan of the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Arcade Fire and Echo and The Bunnymen, then this is definitely the group for you!

The band consists of multi-talented Rene Methner who plays all the instruments you hear within their songs and vocals, paired with Cindy Methner who has taken over the role of backing vocals. They were both individually raised in the eastern part of Germany then met many years later.

Talking about the meaning behind their most recent single, Rene explains that:

“[Hawk Hill] is about my love/hate relationship with the small insignificant town of Falkenberg, where I spent my childhood.”

The new single is from their most recent 10 track album, ‘Soap Bubble Dreams‘, which was released back in March. You can listen to ‘Hawk Hill’ now on all digital platforms including Spotify and iTunes.
