“It’s an amazing feeling to be able to release my debut album ‘Different World’. These past years have been absolutely surreal, and I surely never imagined that I would get to this point when I first started. I’ve released a series of singles, but to put together a full-length album is very different for me. It is something that I’ve worked on for quite some time now, and I’m super excited to finally share it with the world and hear the reaction from my fans!”
Alan Walker made his debut in late 2015, with his single, ‘Faded’. Since that time he’s progressed from learning music production through YouTube videos and posting music online for free, to performing to sold-out audiences. ‘Faded’ has been followed by a string of popular singles, including ‘Alone’, ‘All Falls Down’, ‘Darkside’, and ‘Diamond Heart’. Alongside these successful releases, Walker has also found time to collaborate with and remix music from Noah Cyrus, Sia, Bruno Mars, Avicii, Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Kygo, Charli XCX, Julia Michaels, and many more. Alan to date has been certified Gold and/or platinum in no fewer than 32 countries.
Alan’s fanbase really exploded when the gaming community began using his music. He then became one of the most streamed artists globally, and his breakthrough, ‘Faded’, is now twice certified platinum and has become the seventh most liked video on YouTube of all time, with over 5.8 billion streams worldwide. Walker has over 20 million YouTube subscribers, and 40 million followers across all his social media.
