Jxhn Crxw – ‘Everyday Commute’

Describing himself as an “anti-social extrovert”, Jxhn Crxw is a prolific artist from Florida, whose single ‘Everyday Commute’ is a sometimes humourous look at the thoughts that go through our minds as we take our every day drive to work or study.

With a backing vocal track which sounds like The Andrews Sisters, Jxhn Crxw rhymes about his day to day worries, and we hear occasional bursts of external sounds, such as the loading a cassette into the car’s deck, and screams from presumably where he’s almost run someone over.

There’s three different voices rhyming this track (as well as The Andrew Sisters crooning oh and an extract from Halloween at the start), which we think are all Jxhn, but played at different speeds and pitches. Altogether it’s a nicely crafted track, and makes us think that if this is what being an anti-social extrovert means, then we don’t mind it at all.
