Acid James – ‘Cabin Fever’ feat. GTP

Acid James may come from a little town in England, but his love of adventure, coupled with his passion for music, has seen him perform all over the world. The producer/DJ has recently returned from Amsterdam, where he spent 7 months living and performing. ‘Cabin Fever’, released 13 June, features a music video shot in the Dutch capital.

‘Cabin Fever’ has a strong European feel to it; it’s acid house while at the same time touching on disco and pop. The catchy rhythms are syncopated with the beats, while an echo-y vocal punctuates the track periodically. The track is accompanied by a music video shot in such a way as to give it a vintage Betamax vibe. Lots of colour bleed, and muting, we get the feeling that the group had a lot of fun making the clip…and we especially feel for the girl who’s thrown into the canal on such a gloomy looking day!

You can find out more about Acid James online on his Facebook, Facebook, and Instagram pages. ‘Cabin Fever’ is from the EP ‘The Dance Floor Is Our Church’, and is available to download here.
