Jungle was founded in 2013 by childhood friends Tom McFarland and Josh Lloyd-Watson, who came to be known as “J and T”. From there they expanded into a seven piece lineup – changing their name to Jungle – giving their live shows a full and organic experience.
The following year, they were nominated for BBCs Sound Of 2014 prize, they played SXSW, Glastonbury, and ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ The same year, they released their debut, eponymous album, and performed once again at Glastonbury, as well as ‘Boston Calling’, and regular touring. Their music also found placements in video games and TV shows and commercials (‘Busy Earnin’ was featured in ‘FIFA 15’ and ‘Forza Horizon 2’, as well as in ‘Tales From The Borderlands’ and ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’). Not content with all this, they’re back now with their new single, ‘Happy Man’, including a video.
Directed by JFC Worldwide, the video for ‘Happy Man’ starts with a group sitting around transfixed by a TV programme. Soon strange things start occurring – the room is revealed to be a segment of a warehouse, featuring a car, drum kit, and recording studio equipment.
