Nefertiitii – ‘Motives’ ft. Ron Dreamz

Nefertiitii was born to a young mother in Baltimore, Maryland, and grew up being told she’d be nothing more than a statistic. Nowadays however she’s one of the most talked about rappers to come out of “Mobtown” and for good reasons. Nefertiitii’s latest track, ‘Motives’, features Ron Dreamz and is a showcase of her masterful rhythm and writing skills.

She doesn’t deliberately seek attention, but her music demandes it, and soon after releasing tracks on her own, her sound caught the ear of Chris Gotti, former VP of Murder Inc. Her star is certainly on the rise, and she’s on Gotti’s latest album, in the lead single, ‘Process’. He signed her to his latest music endeavour, Adventure Music, with whom she’ll release an EP.

The video for ‘Motives’ displays Nefertiitii’s issues with letting very few people into her inner circle. Shots cut from her sitting on a throne to walking across a floor covered in money, as if it’s nothing. She interrogates tied up men, “tell me what your motive is” and proves that she’s not one that anyone can take advantage of.

The two-time nominee of a Baltimore Music Award, Nefertiitii is getting a lot of well-deserved recognition, and her steadily growing fanbase eagerly await her rise, and all her projects to come.
