Xavier Toscano – ‘Never Wanna Leave’

We’ve featured Xavier Toscano before in August 2016, with his song, ‘Runaway, which exemplified his love of top 40 music and his belief that pop music is the soundtrack of our lives. Now he’s back with his new single, ‘Never Wanna Leave (Original)‘, which blurs the lines between timeless and contemporary sounds.

Xavier’s hook-heavy vocal performance is matched by foot-tapping instrumentation and a video shot in and on the rooftop of a warehouse building in LAs fashion district. It’s fast and furious and makes you want to get up and dance with Xavier and his crew.

The video has been directed by Xavier’s long-time collaborator Benjamin Jones, with the team keeping a theme of black and white to make sure that nothing distracted from the crispness of the choreography. The one exception is a red wall with a chaise longue, on which Xaver and various members of his crew cavort and generally have a good time. It’s a fun, feel good song that makes you want to get up and dance.

Find out more about Xavier Toscano on his official website. ‘Never Wanna Leave’ is available from iTunes.
