Natalise + The Sunset Run – ‘Be’

Natalise + The Sunset Run first came to our attention late in 2016 with their track, ‘The Lucky Ones’, from their 2015 album, ‘Glimpses Of The Sun’. Last year they came back to us with another track from the album, ‘Love Unconditional’. Now Natalise Kalea and her band have returned with their latest track, ‘Be’, which comes from their latest EP, ‘Constellations’.

“All you gotta do is BE – you and you and nobody else” is going to be the anthem for 2018. You do you. We’re all over the idea of having to remodel ourselves to fit into the ideals of others – rather than squashing our own creativity, we’re embracing it, we’re taking hold of who we actually are and recognising ourselves as the most important person in our lives. Why be anyone else – we’re the only ones who can be us. This is the uncompromising message of ‘Be’.

For the video to this song, Natalise is seen walking around New York City, taking in the iconic sights of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and we see aspiring dancers on their way to the studio. They here discover who they really are – the artists they want to be, to BE; to be true to themselves; to work perfecting their craft. The track has a real Americana feel to it, not quite country, not quite pop, and the subdued tones of the clip, focusing on Natalise, emphasise the deep meaning of the track – “all you gotta do is close your eyes and just be”. It’s the perfect track to inspire you to get back on track if you’re slipping by the wayside. If you have no other resolution for this year, make it to “BE”.

‘Constellations’ is available on iTunes, Amazon, and Spotify. Find Natalise + The Sunset Run online on their official website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and SoundCloud.
