Shaniah Paige – ‘Mysterious Boy’

Named after Shania Twain, Shaniah Paige, from Monmouth, Illinois, was almost destined from birth for a life as a country music singer, and developed a passion for the genre at an early age. Shaniah took every opportunity to perform in local theatre productions, and then, at the age of 15, started work with multi-platinum music producer Andrew Lane, known for his work on High School Musical, and Hannah Montana. Shaniah’s latest single, ‘Mysterious Boy’, was released on November 14.

Shaniah has played along the Illinois/Iowa region, along with performances in Nashville, where she returns on a regular basis, honing her songwriting skills alongside industry heavyweights. Her style of country-inspired pop has been developed with the help of multi-Grammy award winner, Larry Beaird, at Beaird Music Group, and her relatable and catchy songwriting sets her out as one to watch for.

Last year Shaniah was named Fresh New Face Of Country Music by Renegade Radio Nashville, and she performed at CMA Fest, and opened for Stella Parton at BB Kings Nashville. Later in 2016 she signed a management/recording contract with Heart Songs Records. Shaniah has managed to juggle all this, including tours and opening for national acts, with college study.

‘Mysterious Boy’, Shaniah’s latest single, released on November 14, was written inspired by events in her life at college:

“When I began classes, there was a boy I instantly had a crush on” she coyly admits. “I could not figure out what his name was for the longest time, and it was driving me crazy!”

Shaniah turned this quest to find out his name into a fabulous single which pinpoints her transition from country artist to a teen pop singer.
