Eddy Yang – ‘Split the Night’

Los Angeles based Asian American indie rock artist, Eddy Yang, has released his new single, ‘Split The Night’.

Eddy’s unique sound reflects his influences, which include classic acts such as The Velvet Underground and Bruce Springsteen, and contemporary artists like Kanye West, and Chvrches. Eddy mainly works within the confines of rock music, but nonetheless is open to the sounds of pop and other genres. The guitar-led ‘Split The Night’, for example, could as easily be a country song as a rock song.

The instrumentation and lyricism of ‘Split The Night’ is probably where the song’s strengths lay. Eddy is a one-man show and not only sings, but also plays the guitar, and programs the beats. The track has been produced, mixed, and mastered by Eddy in his home studio.
