ECHOS will be performing at California’s biggest NYE festival, Snowglobe, alongside the likes of Flume, Odesza, Major Lazer, and Rufus Du Sol.
Based in Portland, electronic duo ECHOS will release their eponymous debut EP on October 14, through Seeking Blue Records. The pair have worked with the likes of Illenium and Crywolf, and reached over 20 million views on YouTube.
Meeting in 2013 while both releasing material via EDM.com (previously known as Dubstep.net) Tal and Lexi started making demos together within a few days, and found that everything else fell into place organically. Writing via Skype, sending demos back and forth through email, the sounds of ECHOS were starting to take shape. It came to the point where they realised they were going to have to work in person, so Tal packed up and moved from Santa Cruz to Portland. Nearly three and a half years down the track, the pair feel they now have the purest, and most raw versions of themselves, in terms of music, and have accordingly put all this into their new EP.
You can see ECHOS live on the following dates:
26 October: ARCATA, The Jam
27 October: SANTA CRUZ, The Catalyst
28 October: SAN FRANCISCO, Rickshaw Stop
29 October: RENO, Pignic
29-31 December: CALIFORNIA, SnowGlobe Festival, South Lake Tahoe
‘ECHOS’ the EP is set for release on 14 October, and can be pre-ordered from iTunes.. Find ECHOS the band online on Facebook, Soundcloud, Twitter, and Instagram.
