The brand new music video for ‘Falling’ (80 Empire Remix), by Canadian pop star Andrea Godin, has been released. Shot in Los Angeles and directed by Damien Sandoval, the video shows Andrea exploring alter egos, as it divides time between scenes in the California desert and a warehouse loft apartment in LAs Fashion District.
Born and raised in St George Ontario and now based in Toronto, singer/songwriter Andrea Godin always wanted to get into music, and performed for the first time in public at just 11 years old. Her music career started in earnest just two years ago, with the release of her singles, ‘Pages’, and ‘Bullet’, which saw her receive airplay across radio and TV in Canada and the US. Andrea followed these up with the dance floor filler, ‘Falling’, which  has now been remixed by 80 Empire, and produced by Universal Music Publishing writers and producers, the Rezza Brothers.
Andrea has in her short time as a music professional enjoyed the number 6 spot in the iTunes Dance Charts with her track, ‘Outta Your Hands’, which she wrote for Euro dance artist, Alvino. The song was released on Sony Music Italy, and was played on several of Italy’s top radio stations. She also had the opportunity to work with Grammy nominated artist, Ryan Farish, from LA, on their track, ‘Memories’. The song gained airplay on Sirius XM among other stations, and also made it onto the iTunes Dance Charts, peaking at number 44.
She’s also performed live at Canadian Fashion Week Canadian Music Week, opened for Aaron Carter on the US dates of his 2014 tour, and had a special duet with Joey McIntyre, of New Kids On The Block fame. The pair sang The Weeknd’s ‘Can’t Feel My Face’, in front of 3000 fans on the NKOTB fan cruise.
Add to these various guest spots and red carpet events, including the Toronto International Film Festival, the Much Music Awards and several Grammy Awards events: the result being massive exposure for Andrea. It’s clear her rising star is set to soar even higher.
