Breeze Redwine challenges us with ‘Courage’, a powerful song with an anti-bullying message.Â
Written by Lisa Redford, the song has been written to empower those who have been bullied, with a video making reference to celebrities and others who have survived bullying.
“Bullying makes the lives of its victims miserable.
It undermines their confidence and destroys their sense of security. It can also affect children and young people’s attendance and progress at school.
Bullying can cause sadness, loneliness, low self-esteem, fear, anxiety, and poor concentration.
It can lead to self-harm, depression, suicidal thoughts, and in some cases, suicide.
And there’s evidence that, for some people, being bullied regularly as a child can also be linked to emotional problems as an adult.”
It’s hard to believe that Breeze is only 13, but the talented vocalist has been singing since she was ten, and won the 2015 pre-teen category of Teen Star, a nation-wide singing competition in the UK. Breeze hopes to make a professional career of her singing, and we think she’s definitely on her way there.
You can find Breeze online on her official website, Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube. You can buy ‘Courage’ from Reverbnation.
