This Human Condition have shared with us their take on the Madonna classic, ‘Holiday’.
Starting out sounding like The Pet Shop Boys, but quickly segueing into THC’s signature electro jazz/funk style (for want of a better description), they’ve taken Madonna’s falsetto teeny bop breakthrough record and reimagined it as how it would sound all grown up. Madonna would be proud.
‘Holiday’ is taken from the album, ‘A Fourth Masquerade’, curated by Doncaster Electronic Foundation, which was released on October 31. The album consists of covers of songs you’ll know but want to know all over again, and is part of an annual challenge to challenge electronic artists to record music by artists markedly different to themselves. You can find out more here.
