Put Simply, Mariann Rosa is ‘Frikkin’ Fantastic’

Mariann Rosa1

Mariann Rosa is back with her new sci-fi pop single, ‘Frikkin’ Fantatic’, set for release on 5th October. This is the follow up to ‘Banjo For My Bitches’ from the quirky Norwegian vocalist and DJ.

A slice of futuristic eletro pop infectiousness, ‘Frikkin’ Fantastic’ sounds like a cross between Charlie XCX and Robyn – with a surprise half time breakdown. Released via Popjoy Records, ‘Frikkin’ Fantastic’ was produced by Zebra1 (who’s also produced Tim Hawes and Obi Mhodnera), and mixed and mastered by Dario Dendi.

‘Its about being free, strong and independent! It´s a fun song with a weird twist…just like me! It´s a powerful poppy rock´n roll song tweaking over to deep hip-hop beats and Missy Elliott/ Iggy Azalea kinda touch on the vocals, TURN UP!’  – Mariann Rosa

Mariann is performing at Undebelly on October 10. Details here.
